Trying Out The Squidoo

May 24, 2008

I heard about Squidoo even before I started blogging but I did not bother to check it out until a friend mentioned it to me last night. So just this morning, I immediately went to Squidoo, look around and decided to start a lens.

Squidoo is great because majority of the information you can find there are quite useful. Squidoo is one site where you can read a lot of insightful write-ups and do-it-yourself tips. Everybody at Squidoo share their expertise or what they know about something and this actually give me a bit of hesitation whether I could fit in it.

So I think about something that I learn recently and online social networking suddenly popped in my mind. I just recall what I learned and put them together. Sure it is not that comprehensive but it still contain some social networking tidbits that might be useful to novice social networkers who are still in the process of learning it.

Nosy About Twitter

April 18, 2008

Twitter is almost everywhere; check out your favorite blogs and you can surely find two to three Twitter users at once. It shows the recent activities of a person anytime of the day and for me. it is a nice and efficient way to update or inform your network without the need of sending individual or group messages.

For students who are working on a project, using Twitter is helpful especially when the group members are not working in one place. You can update one another in real-time and even use your mobile phone to send in an SMS and Twitter will send it out to your group of friends and then posts it to your Twitter page. Cool isn’t?

That is why, I decide to try it out and now, I have my own Twitter to tweet and be tweeted ;)
